Due of the persistent – permanent - left upper lateral incisor’s lack of tooth germ, the inside lateral incisor had to be removed because it became considerably movable. With a fixed orthodontic appliance sufficient space had to be provided for the implant, which will replace the permanent lateral incisor-shaped tooth.
